Buiratau national park located on the east from the capital of Kazakhstan on the territory of Akmola and Karaganda regions. Here, spacious steppes shifts with small mountainous areas, the most famous of which are the Falcon Mountains and the surroundings of mountain Akdym. It is not difficult to see argali, moose, roe deer or deer in Buiratau. In the area of cordon “Belodymovskaya dacha” there is even a unique maral’s nursery. Slopes of mountain Akdym and the slopes north-east of the village of Algabas are famous for being favored by argali.
Fans of history and archeology will be interested in visiting the Kumai archaeological complex, where you can see burials dating from the Bronze Age to the Middle Age, while the main objects of the complex are rightly considered Turkic stone sculptures — warriors facing the east with daggers in scabbards and ritual vessels. In Buiratau you can stay in the guest houses of locals from Algabas village, which is surrounded by hills, small springs and birch pegs.
